Happy Cows isn’t just a word; it’s an act of love. At Milkmor, cows are sheltered in the right temperature, cushion, and clean sheds. They’re fed nutritious fodder from time to time, and 24 x 7 doctors are available for their observation and treatment. The cows are free, and they’re not tied to any pole so that they can roam around, have a scrub session, drink water, and gossip with their friends around. They are also pampered with Pedicure every fortnight to keep their hooves clean, hygienic, and disinfected. Yes, we didn’t lie about Pedicure.
Just imagine, In India, there are still many places where the cows are considered mothers and are kept in the open and tied under the tree. During monsoon, their hooves and legs are half feet deep into their own dung and mud. Due to the moist sludge and intense humidity, their hooves get infected. Also many flies are around. The cows get restless and keep waving their tail constantly for hours to keep away the flies and get irritated. They have to stand unwillingly as they can’t even sit in that place peacefully. This is the typical scenario; most milkmen milk the cows in the same infected area in the bucket. It’s not hygienic for the cows and consumers who consume that milk.
